ORIGIN Education Centre provides a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for students who need an alternative to mainstream education. We support young people who may be at risk of exclusion or have faced barriers to learning, helping them re-engage, rebuild confidence, and make progress.

As Centre Director, I am pleased to welcome you and introduce our provision for young people aged 7 to 18 who are excluded from, or at risk of exclusion from, mainstream education.
At ORIGIN, we believe every young person should feel safe, supported, and able to succeed. Our focus is to help students re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence, and make positive progress.
We provide a broad and balanced curriculum across Key Stages 2–5, supported by personalised learning plans and close partnership working with parents, Base Schools, Colleges, and other professionals. This ensures each student receives consistent and individualised support.
Alongside academic learning, we place strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing and emotional intelligence. We support students to develop self-awareness, self-control, motivation, empathy, and social skills to help them manage emotions, build positive relationships, and succeed in learning and life.
Our aim is to provide a safe, structured, and caring environment where every young person is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Our Alternative Provision offer includes flexible support to meet individual needs, through three strands
Delivered through referral from partner schools and education providers for students who need a structured off-site setting.
One-to-one or small group academic support delivered at our centre or an agreed location.
Flexible one-to-one or small group learning for students who are unable to attend in person.
